| Welcome to the Laurie Lou Bears website
My name is Laurie and I have been making bears for just over three years now and I really enjoy it. I mainly make bears between 7 and 15 inches and currently make traditional and modern .I like to try new things so I wouldn’t rule out different and exciting designs for the future. I like to think that I make bears with appealing faces and would like to think that their owners enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them. I have only kept a few of my bears and Peter is one of these as I felt that he belonged to me and I couldn’t bear to part with him. |
| I have lived in Norwich all of my life and pictured is Elm Hill which is one of the oldest streets in Norwich and was largely rebuilt after the great fire of 1507. Elm Hill still retains its Tudor character and an interesting fact is that there are more Tudor houses in Elm Hill than in the whole of the city of London. My bears have the luxury of being for sale in a quaint little bear shop in Elm Hill and on the seafront in Cromer where there is another lovely little bear shop that opens during the summer season.
